| we're pregnant. ben and i are going to have a baby!
woo-hoo! i'm due june 12th, so that makes me 9 weeks
pregnant. i'm very excited, but incredibly paranoid.
everywhere i turn i find out about something else you're not supposed
to do while you're pregnant, and i realize i've been doing it for the
past nine weeks. if it's God's will for me to have a chid with
birth defects, then so be it...i'll love it with my whole heart!
but i hate thinking that i might be doing something to cause it.
so i can't even stress about being a parent, because i'm consumed with
being stressed about being pregnant. i never dreamed it would
consume me like this! anyway, i'm trying to focus on the fact
that God cares about this child more than i ever will, and he has a
plan for the baby's life, and no matter what i do, i can't mess that
up. i wish time would move faster. people say i should
enjoy every moment of pregnancy, but i'm impatient!

| luke and sara's wedding was beautiful!!! sara looked like an absolute princess, which was definitely appropriate. the whole day was just wonderful...from getting our hair done, to relaxing in the "bride's room," to stressing out as the moment approached, to hearing the vows, to dancing like a maniac at the reception...well, okay, so not everyone was a maniac. (mostly just me.) i'm so excited for them! they had that "just married" glow about them. and now they're off on a cruise. honestly, i'm a bit envious...i'd love to go on a cruise. and, i miss sara!!! just not the same at work without her.
so, my favorite quote from the day came from luke's little cousin, joey. he was one of the ring bearers. we were riding in the car on the way to the reception and just chatting about all sorts of random things. then when things got quiet, he looked up at me with that 7 year-old innocence and said, "so, what's you're favorite animal?" i loved it!

| today is a great day! why, you ask? let me count the ways:
1. YES!! (insert hand pump here.) i am well on my way having my thesis finally finished. emailed my adviser a full draft yesterday, and now i'm just waiting for feedback. oh how i yearn for life free from the demands of school.
2. sara and luke (i should insert links, but i'm still not really good at that) are getting married today (i get to wear a pretty pink dress!)
3. i'm getting my highlights touched up and my hair trimmed...it's been a long time and i can't wait.
4. it's pretty warm outside.
that's pretty good! four reasons, and i didn't even have to think that hard! | | |
| I've decided that instead of waiting months to find out what happens to Syd and "Vaughn" I'm going to write my own ending. Feel free to submit your own entries. Perhaps we can all vote and pick our favorite??? | | |
| oh my, oh my, oh my. hmmmm...knew something was going to happen, but i certainly jumped when THAT happened. quite a twist, and now i have to wait months to find out the result!!!!!!!!!!
